IMPORTANT NOTES ON EPIC PARTS
FOR VOLKMANN
|
1) BA NUMBER: It is important to identify
the BA (BAUART) number of your machine. The BA
number is the series of year of manufacture of
the machine. Noting that there may be some overlap
in year of manufacture, the following chart will
help in identifying the machine:

2) OUR INFORMATION WAS DEVELOPED USING THE VOLKMANN
SIX DIGIT PART NUMBER. Add one or two zeros
to the front of the number if you only have
a 4 or 5 digit number. Note that Volkmann has
now gone to a seven digit numbering system.
If you have a seven-digit number, drop the
first zero.

3) MULTIPLE PART NUMBERS: An individual part
may have two or more OEM part numbers.
|
4) DUPLICATE ASSEMBLY PAGE NUMBERS: Volkmann
duplicated assembly page numbers in the 100 series
between 100 and 167 in the BA3 and BA4 series.
Epic has identified these pages/parts with, for
example, 101-12 BA3 and 101-12 BA4.

5) EPIC LISTINGS FOR OEM PART NUMBERS IN PARENTHESES
AND BRACKETS: Our listings for OEM part
numbers in ( ) means that the part is either
functionally the same as the OEM part but has
a different execution, or that the part is
a component of an assembly where no OEM reference
is available. Parts in [ ] brackets are not
interchangeable with Volkmann.

To insure that we correctly identify the centering
disc that you need, please supply the dimensions
as outlined in the diagram below. |
